SIG Monthly Schedule - 2nd Monday, 7:00pm at Warwick Town Hall, the main hall.
SIG Leader - George Opper
The last meeting of the Digital Photo SIG was held on Monday February 28th. Unfortunately no one showed up for this meeting. I have decided that due to other interests that conflict with the timing of this meeting, that I will no longer lead the SIG after the March meeting. If there is any member who would like to take over the leadership of this SIG, please get in touch with me and I will pass along any materials that I have.
Generally we start off our meetings with a short question and answer period,
followed by a short talk on the monthly topic.
All members who own digital cameras are encouraged to bring them in for a "Show and Tell".
This helps our fellow members get a better feel for what kind of cameras people are using and their real-life opinions of them.
An earlier presentation was all about getting started with digital photography and what features to look for in purchasing a camera. We discussed the advantages of the amount of megapixels that are needed to produce the results that you need; the type of storage media available and the advantages and disadvantages of each; power sources; and lenses and zooms. You can review the presentation by clicking here.
Manipulate your images with a simple freeware program called Anokee Illuminator which you can download here.
